Business Licenses
All Business Tax Licenses and Container Permits expire each year on September 30.
The City of Webster requires that a Local Business Tax License ("Occupational License") is obtained to sell or operate a business in the city. It is valid for a fiscal year and expires every year on September 30th.
If you are over 65 or a Veteran, you are exempt from fees but will still need to obtain an Exempt License from the City of Webster. Proof of exempt status is required.
The City of Webster does not allow shipping containers without a Container Permit. It is valid for a fiscal year and expires every year on September 30th.
All containers in the City of Webster must have a valid Container Permit Sticker and it must be placed on the outside of the container so it is visible. Failure to do so can result in fees and/or the removal of the container with no replacement authorized.
